The Toronto Breastfeeding Challenge was a success again this year in spite of the bad weather!
Approximately the same number of mamas (200) showed up for the big event.

In addition to being one of four corporate sponsors for the event, Evymama gave away three custom-fitted nursing bra certificates (winners will choose from any bra in the store), Custom Breastfeeding Challenge tee shirts to the volunteers, A50.00 gift certificate to La Leche League for them to give away during their walk, and each of the mamas who modelled for us got a 25.00 gift certificate (and plenty of time in the spotlight to show off her baby!)
A big thank you to everyone who helped out with The Toronto Breastfeeding Challenge, especially my dear friends Stephanie Phoenix & Sam Mills, and Audrey, Gabby, Rhonda, Andrea, Sheryl, Janine, Cindy, Vivian, & Krystin. Heidi, our fabulous store manager (who is also a lighting designer by trade, what luck!) took care of designing our fab fashion show!

Don't miss Avalon Orchards this Fall: Organic pick-your own Apples in Innisfill, ON. These fine farmers donated three bushels or organic apples to feed the breastfeeders at this year's Challenge.
I also wish to thank Medela for donating 400 samples to the gift bags for the second year in a row. What a great company!
